The Department of Paediatric Otolaryngology is currently the only multidisciplinary ENT Department in Lithuania providing both scheduled and emergency otolaryngological care.
In addition to having 20 beds, the Department has a hearing test lab and well equipped consultation/examination areas.

Every year over 6,000 children from all over Lithuania are examined here. In-patient, scheduled treatments are provided for over 2,000 patients suffering from various diseases of the middle and inner ear, nose and paranasal sinuses, as well as the pharynx and the larynx. Each year, over 2,400 operations are performed.

The Department utilizes many modern diagnostic and treatment methods, including a computerized video endoscope system with full image storage and retrieval capabilities.
This system is also used in determining both preoperative and postoperative patient status, disease monitoring as well as treatment outcomes.
